Exploration
Went to Republic Polytechnic today, for the Adventure Half-Day camp. Lol. It was awesome I tell you. ESPECIALLY THE TIGHT ROPE. Wa that one can go fly without wings. See ah, we were suspended about two or three ( probably three ) stories above ground. After that we are to move between obstacle to obstacle. The only thing that prevented us from being a little red dot is due to the safety rope. A small, pathetic 1.5 metre rope will prevent us from falling three stories down.
Somehow, that doesn't actually console me.. -.-''
But yet, I was the first to go. Wo shi nan ren ( pun not intended ), after all.
First stage was okay. Not too bad. There were logs that you could hold onto for support, and the platforms were not too small to balance and walk to the next stage.
Second stage was a breeze. A massive web of ropes, you just need to slowly shimmy to the other side of the stage.
3rd stage was kinda okay. There was a bridge that was roughly a metre long. Just need to walk to the end of the bridge. There were four punching bags that you can hold onto for support, but you also have to move it out of the way to keep moving forward.
4th stage is HELL. It's just like the 3rd stage. It's just that the bridge is a single rope whose diameter is less than ONE of Hwa Tiang's shoes. And the punching bags?
Replaced with 4 ropes, each 2 metres away from each other. But it would slowly be closer and closer la, til' it's about arms length.
Everyone hated that stage.
5th stage was slightly difficult, because the only support you have is your safety rope. The platform was made up of a single large log, and you have to walk across it. It's okay la, not so bad.
Then got one more game for us, but that one is slightly less fun than the 5-obstacles.
After that slacked a bit, then took a a scheduled bus to Kranji and walked home after that.
Oh and Lilian hum ji-ed out of the 4th stage. The HELL one. She cried halfway through , then she sat there and cried. One of the facilitator's had to DRAG her out of the obstacle. Z.
Can't wait for next Wed, cos we all later going to "East Coast" ( that's what Shah says ) for BBQ. After school, we chiong to Choa Chu Kang Control Station and meet there at 3 pm sharp.
Hope I won't be late.
AND I HATE MS LOW.
